Hanarupark 101 meet everybody fave, Rilakkuma Dominique Bracelet ^^

As i am blogging away, i stumble upon this note that i got years ago and it makes me want to share with you all about success.. With success comes a problem. Just ask Nadab, Elah, and Omri. Or interview Ahab, Ahaziah, or Jehoram. Ask these men to describe the problem of success. You might be thinking, if I knew who they were :p These are men we should know. They were kings of Israel. They ascended to the throne, but something about the throne brought them down. Their legacies are stained with blood spilling and idol worship. They failed at success. They forgot both the source and purpose of their success.

You won’t be offered a throne, but you might be offered a corner office, a scholarship, an award, a new contract, a pay raise. You won’t be given a kingdom but you might be given a beautiful home or money or resources. You will, to one degree or another, succeed..

Hanarupark 102

And when you do, you might be tempted to forget who helped you do so.. Know the purpose of success.. Why did God help you succeed? So you can make Him known.

Why are you good at what you do? For your comfort? For your retirement? For your self-esteem? No. Why are you good at what you do? For God’s sake. Your success is not about what you do. It’s all about Him..

Hanarupark 103

This note makes me realise how busy and hectic my schedule before and after my Seoul trip and sometimes i forgot to pray or at least give Him thanks >.< Forgive me, Lord.. And this is my prayer today, “I want to hear the voice of God before i hear anyone else’s in the morning and His is the last voice i want to hear at night”

Everything in this life is finite, meaning it doesn’t last, but only one thing is truly infinite and will last forever.. Yes, everything in this life can and will let you down, but the beautiful thing about it is this, when everything lets you down in this world it leads you to the one thing that is truly beautiful…..

the unfailing love of Jesus Christ ♡

Interview with God (하느님과의 인터뷰)

I dreamed I had an interview with GOD

“so you would like to interview me?” GOD asked.
“If you have the time,” I said.

GOD smiled.

“My time is eternity… what questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

GOD answered.

“That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money… and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present,
such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

“That they live as if they will never die, and die as though they had never lived.”

GOD’s hand took mine and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked,

“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone love them. All they can do is let themselves be loved.”

“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others.”

“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love.
and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.”

“To learn that there are people who love them dearly,
but simply do not yet know how to express or show their feelings.”

“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently.”

“To learn that it is not enough that they forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

“thank you for your time,” I said humbly.

“Is there anything else you’d like your children to know?”

GOD smiled and said…

“Just know that I am here.”

today as i sip my coffee and read all of your comments on our instagram hashtag #hanaruparkinkorea a huge smile anticipating all your sweet and thoughtful comments.. i feel so blessed ^^ stay true all coz good people are not easy to come by and you’re such a gem..!!! sometimes we need special holidays to remind us to pause and give thanks to our friends and family but what about the people you engage with online? the people that support your work.. it doesn’t always require a lot of planning to say “thank you” in meaningful way, sometimes the opportunity just presents itself.. THANKS TO MY FOLLOWERS..!!! love you to the moon and back and back again ^_______^

it tugs at my heart.. when you enjoy what you do, it no longer becomes work.. The Word of God helps me to stay grounded in His promises.. The Lord has been so merciful to show me that life apart from Him is nothing and what i really want is to bring Him Glory through my work ^^

well, i should start packing for seoul, my 3 fave words :p can’t wait to finish all the meetings on my first day then grab my coffee around samcheongdong..
